Principal
William Song is a partner and founding member at Tent Engineering with over 20 years of biogas experience. William has been involved in over 150 diverse biogas projects that include: power generation, renewable natural gas (RNG) conversion, LFG collection/control, CNG vehicle fuel, woody biomass, environmental compliance, and other wide-ranging projects. With over twenty years of experience in the renewable energy industry, William’s biogas technical expertise includes a detailed understanding of process, mechanical, electrical, controls, and environmental compliance. William holds a BS, Mechanical Engineering from Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea and a Master of Mechanical Engineering from State University of New York at Buffalo.
Jesse Drake
Sr. Project Manager
Jesse Drake is a partner and founding member at Tent Engineering. Jesse has 15 years of experience in biogas engineering, construction, and operations. Jesse’s expertise in project management plays a vital role in Tent’s team. His portfolio includes involvement in over 80 biogas utilization facilities. Jesse’s project management experience includes: power generation, H2S removal, environmental compliance, SCADA/Controls management, biogas treatment/cleanup systems, and facility operations. Jesse holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nebraska.
Jeff Friesen, PE
Sr. Project Manager
Jeff Friesen is a partner at Tent Engineering. Jeff has 18 years of experience in design and development for over 100 biogas projects including: Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) conversion, landfill and digester gas collection and control, biogas cleanup, biogas-to-energy, heat recovery systems, boiler/thermal systems, woody biomass, and hydroelectricity. Jeff is involved technically and managerially at all stages of a project from feasibility study to startup. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from George Fox University.
Will Cammack, PE
Project Manager
Will is a partner at Tent Engineering. He has 10 years of experience in the biogas industry working on a wide array of projects including process and mechanical design for renewable natural gas and power production facilities, operations support, asset management, environmental compliance, project development, and project management. Will’s technical experience covers a range of technologies and project types in biogas treatment and upgrading, heat recovery systems, steam and hot water boilers systems, landfill gas collection, high pressure gas piping, bulk propane systems, CO2 liquefaction, and waste handling/treatment systems. Will holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from George Fox University.
